Luxury Wedding Event Planner - New York, NY

 

The Client is a renowned event planning company based in the New York  City Metropolitan Area. With over 20 years of experience and expertise  in organizing over 1,200 weddings, our dedicated team ensures flawless  execution and attention to detail for every event. We specialize in  creating lavish, luxurious, and effortless experiences in various  locations all over the world. 

Job Description

 

This is a full-time role for a Luxury Wedding Event Planner/Event Producer 

We  are seeking a hardworking and responsible event planner with a "can-do"  attitude to join our dynamic team. This position requires a keen  attention to detail, strong organizational and problem-solving skills,  and the ability to work well under pressure.  

Knowledge and understanding of luxury brands, trends, and customer preferences are essential.

Responsibilities

 

Take on clients from the initial inquiry through the day of execution 

· Book new clients and business for the company 

· Collaborate with our experienced team of senior event planners to execute flawless events 

·  Assist with various aspects of event planning, including venue  selection, vendor coordination, vendor negotiation, timeline production,  and creating event concepts 

· Conduct research to stay updated on the latest event trends and luxury offerings 

· Help manage event budgets, contracts, and timelines 

· Respond promptly to client inquiries and provide excellent customer service 

·  Keep in constant contact with our couples, providing regular updates  and addressing any concerns or questions they may have throughout the  event planning process 

Qualifications

 

Strong organizational and time management skills, the ability to multitask efficiently to meet deadlines 

· 5+ years in event planning, must have been the lead planner e leader for 90% of the events 

· Creativity and attention to detail 

· Have excellent writing and verbal communication skills 

· Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite 

· Knowledge and passion for events, weddings, and trends 

· Previous experience with celebrity wedding events is required. 

· Self-motivated and efficient in problem-solving 

· Active thinker, confident, hardworking, take the initiative, extremely motivated, and resourceful 

· Social media-obsessed and tech-savvy! Must know how to use Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn. 

· Proficient in G-Suite and Microsoft Suite 

· No-job-too-small mentality 

· Know how to maintain the utmost discretion and confidentiality 

· Know how to be personable and engage with high-net-worth clients 

·  Have an extremely neat and professional appearance at all times  (professional black attire at all times, hair is neatly done, manicure  and makeup) 

· Must have a valid passport for travel 

· Must have a valid driver’s license

Salary and Work Hours

 

Commensurate with experience 

$75000-$125000 all travel expenses covered 

Currently researching company healthcare benefits 

 

Mon-Fri: 10AM-6PM in the office 

Work events on  the weekends. Dates vary but it is roughly 2 weekends per month (Thurs,  Fri, Sat). Most events are destination so will need a valid passport.
